Intro to Aussie Girl

I'm Aussie Girl, I know a lame name, but what's the point of giving you my real name? When all you’re coming to this blog for, is for my perspective on issues. I guess you’re wondering what I’m going to talk about on this blog, well anything you want an Aussies perspective on. Such as do Australians actually ride kangaroos to school, I want to say yes, just to see how many people believe me. What makes people think this is true, I don’t know. But would you approach an animal, that has the claws to rip open your stomach, I know I’m not going to try that, I'm not saying kangaroos just jump up to you and start attacking you, no, like all creatures they have to be provoked, but they are dangerous. Even more so when you’re driving, when driving home last night, there was a big buck kangaroo (a male kangaroo) on the side of the road, I slowed down once I saw him, and for good reasons, he jumped right out in front of me, and had I been driving at full speed and not have been able to stop in time, I would have hit him, and before everyone starts freaking out about animal cruelty, etc. I would have been the one hurt, my car would have folded in on me, and the kangaroo, would have jumped off, just fine. So yes, Australians do come into contact with Kangaroos, and yes people do get hurt, and so do Kangaroos, but No, we do not ride them to school, because they are dangerous and shouldn’t be kept as a pet. I wouldn’t even approach a Kangaroo in the wild, a zoo, yes, if the zookeeper said that it was okay. But even then I would be careful, also I want to clarify, I'm talking about a Kangaroo, not a wallaby.
